About

Welcome to "Back to the Dev" šŸš€

I'm Thiago, a Cloud Native BizDevOps professional with a passion for bridging technology and human potential. šŸŒ This blogā€™s name reflects my journey back to the core of development ā€” and now, to leading communities that shape the future of cloud-native innovation.

My coding journey began in high school with assembly language. Though life took unexpected turns, those early days sparked a lifelong obsession with problem-solving through technology. As AI reshapes industries, Iā€™ve returned to my roots with renewed vigor, diving deep into Kubernetes, AI integration, and community-driven progress. šŸ’”

Over the past year, Iā€™ve embraced leadership roles that blend technical expertise with human-centric collaboration.

"Back to the Dev" is more than a blogā€”it's a record of my return to programming and a place to share technical knowledge, especially about AI and Cloud Native. Iā€™m here to:

  • šŸš€ Demystify cloud-native technologies through a globally-local lens
  • šŸ¤ Champion open-source (yes, communities > corporations!)
  • šŸ§© Connect dots between DevOps practices, business outcomes, and human potential

When offline, youā€™ll find me hosting Melbourneā€™s Kubernetes User Group and Cloud Native meetups, losing gracefully at Go tournaments or stuck in the middle of an algorithm to solve Rubik's cube. These arenā€™t just hobbiesā€”theyā€™re laboratories for the systems thinking that fuels my work. šŸ§

Beyond sharing random text here, I work directly with teams and organizations as Nikkei One (n1)ā€”my solo consultancy focused on turning cloud-native ambitions into reality. Think of me as your one-stop shop. With expertise in Kubernetes, cloud security, and strategic tech leadership. Letā€™s collaborate to achieve your goals.
